Abstract
⺠We analyzed the molecular and isotopic composition of 15 crude oils samples. ⺠A new C15 sesquiterpane biomarker was identified in the studied oils. ⺠The oils show molecular and isotopic variations attributed to source rock facies variations. ⺠Source rock facies reflect productivity, organic matter sources and paleoclimatic changes.
