Abstract
⺠Extraction and quantification/work up methods for IPL GDGTs compared. ⺠Bligh Dyer extraction performed best for extracting all IPL GDGT species. ⺠IPL GDGTs with a phosphate group are mainly lost during extraction and work up. ⺠IPL GDGTs should be quantified directly in Bligh-Dyer extracts.
