Abstract
⺠Resinites from three distinct deposits in Canada were studied. ⺠Samples were analysed using Py-GC-MS and FTIR. ⺠The resinites have enantio polylabdanoid matrices incorporating succinic acid. ⺠There is evidence of partial esterification of ozol with succinic acid. ⺠A new sub-category of Class Id resinites was designated.
