Abstract
⺠Dolomite rocks with positive δ13C values contain various euryarchaeal biomarkers. ⺠GDGTs derive from both planktic and benthic archaea. ⺠Archaeol in dolomite represents a biomarker for benthic euryarchaea. ⺠Dolomite rocks formed during diagenesis in the methanogenesis zone.
