Abstract
Low temperature (LT) is a major environmental restriction on plant performance. Crop plant acclimation to LT stress is mediated via intense proteomic changes affecting photosynthesis, defence/detoxification, signal transduction and metabolic pathways. The identification of LT-responsive proteins may provide the required backgrounds of plant genetic engineering.
