Abstract
RNAi knock-down of a gossypol pathway cytochrome P450 hydroxylase gene CYP82D109 cloned from cotton resulted in the blockage of gossypol and heliocides biosynthesis. It also enhanced the pathogen induced lacinilene C pathway in cotton.
