Abstract
Nine compounds with three different structural skeletons were isolated from seeds of Vigna angularis and in particular, potentially toxic carboxyatractyligenin-type ent-kaurane diterpenoids were reported from this food plant. Some of the isolated saponins and diterpenes inhibited nitric oxide production in LPS-activated RAW264.7 macrophages.
