Abstract
Four (1-4) along with six known oleanane-type triterpenes were isolated from fruit peels of Camellia japonica (Theaceae). Several compounds with OH-3 or/and COOH-28 functionalities showed strong PTP1B inhibitory activity as well as cytotoxicity against human breast cancer cell lines.79
