Abstract
Geraniol and linalool synthases from perilla were analyzed by a domain swapping approach and site-directed mutagenesis strategy to elucidate indispensable domains their enzymatic reactions. Further, five amino acids were found to be significant for regioselectivity in geraniol synthase.
