Abstract
Recombinant Ï-amidase had similar activities with α-ketosuccinamate, α-hydroxysuccinamate and α-ketoglutaramate. A T-DNA insertion mutant accumulated α-ketosuccinamate and α-hydroxysuccinamate in root suggesting a function in asparagine metabolism.
