Abstract
Malonyl-ginsenosides in Panax japonicus cell culture were found for the first time. Ginsenosides accumulation during growth of P. japonicus cell culture was studied. 20(S)-protopanaxadiol-type ginsenosides were mainly represented by their malonylated forms.
