Abstract
Bioassay-guided fractionation and chemical investigation of the extract of Rhus verniciflua bark resulted in the identification of six polyphenols (1-6), together with four known compounds (7-10). All isolates were evaluated for their antitumor activity in A549, SK-OV-3, SK-MEL-2, and HCT-15 cell lines, and anti-inflammatory activity by measuring (NO) levels in LPS-stimulated BV-2 cells.
