Abstract
⺠Spermidine synthase catalyses the conversion of putrescine to spermidine. ⺠Spermidine is an essential precursor for spermine and thermospermine. ⺠Those polyamines contribute to drought stress tolerance and vascular tissue growth. ⺠Spermidine synthase protein was localised in phloem cells of the whole potato plant.
