Abstract
⺠Prenyl diphosphate phosphatase (CsPDP) was cloned from Croton stellatopilosus. ⺠The recombinant, membrane-bound, CsPDP converted GGPP to GGOH. ⺠The catalytic activities of CsPDP depended on the length of the N-terminus. ⺠The absence of the first transmembrane region in the CsPDP protein affected the GGPP conversion to GGOH.
