Abstract
The production of bioactive metabolites of Ammi visnaga umbels, spontaneously grown in marshy areas or hydroponically cultivated under different hypoxia and salinity stress conditions (25 and 50 mM of NaCl, with or without oxygen), has been evaluated by HPLC-ESI/IT/MS and HPLC-ESI/QqQ/MS/MS analyses, in order to verify the plant response to abiotic stresses and the possibility to increase the expression of bioactive secondary metabolites. Two furanochromones never reported before were identified.
