Abstract
Lichenase digestion of MLGs from three unrelated organisms yielded an unexpectedly stable hexasaccharide, β-d-Glcp-(1â3)-β-d-Glcp-(1â4)-β-d-Glcp-(1â4)-β-d-Glcp-(1â4)-β-d-Glcp-(1â3)-d-Glc (G3G4G4G4G3G), giving insights into both lichenase action and MLG sequences.
