Abstract
Larvae of Rondotia menciana uptake flavonol glycosides from Morus alba leaf. Main components of the R. menciana cocoon were flavonol galactosides, which were not present in its host plant. The result suggests that conjugation reaction of flavonoids with galactose occurs in the insect.
