Abstract
⺠Major alkaloid levels were measured in organs of cultivated Narcissus cv. Carlton. ⺠NMR allowed simultaneous quantitation of narciclasine and other alkaloids. ⺠Maximum alkaloid concentrations occurred in the bulbs and leaves before flowering. ⺠Narcissus cv. Carlton can be a source of major alkaloids besides galanthamine.
