Abstract
⺠The alkaloids of Clausena wallichii twigs were investigated. ⺠Chromatographic isolation led to the discovery of 17 alkaloids and five of them were previously unknown carbazole alkaloids. ⺠The five carbazole alkaloids had weak antibacterial activity.
