Abstract
► Chemotaxonomic differentiation of S. stenophylla and S. runcinata was achieved. ► Chemotypes of S. stenophylla and S. runcinata rich in α-bisabolol were identified. ► PLS calibration models were able to predict α-bisabolol content.
