Abstract
⺠Di-C-glycosylflavones are biosynthesised by sequential glycosylation of 2-hydroxynaringenin. ⺠UDP-glucose and UDP-arabinose are the sugar donors. ⺠A dehydratase is required to fully dehydrate the di-C-glycosylated flavonoid intermediate. ⺠Specific C-glycosyltransferases are required for each glycosylation.
