Abstract
⺠Concentrations of bioactive constituents differed significantly among African regions. ⺠Within- and among-population variation was high. ⺠Molecular phylogenetic pattern is probably co-expressed by chemical pattern. ⺠Madagascan populations are important for a conservation of African cherry.
