Abstract
												⺠The first phytochemical investigation on the bark of Ficus elastica aerial roots. ⺠Three compounds and nine known compounds were obtained. ⺠Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data. ⺠The growth inhibitory effect was evaluated against microorganisms and cancer cells. ⺠Compounds 1 and 3 showed remarkable antibacterial activities.
