Abstract
⺠Melodinus species have been shown to be good sources of MIAs. ⺠Ten monoterpenoid indole alkaloids, MIAs, together with 32 known alkaloids were isolated from M. yunnanensis endemic to Yunnan. ⺠A bisindole alkaloid showed activity against four human cancer cell lines, HL-60, SMMC-7721, A-549, and MCF-7.
