Abstract
⺠Nine datiscosides were isolated by antiplasmodial assay guided fractionation. ⺠Moderate in vitro antiplasmodial activity (IC50 from 7.7 to 33.3 μM) was observed. ⺠Cytotoxicity against L6 but not CHO cells was observed. ⺠No cytotoxicity against Leishmania tarentolae was observed. ⺠The selective cytotoxicity of the compounds warrants further investigation.
