Abstract
⺠Methyl jasmonate does not increase alkaloids in ODC-RNAi hairy roots of Nicotiana glauca. ⺠ODC-RNAi N. glauca transgenic plants do not increase anabasine levels after damage. ⺠ODC is essential for wound-stress stimulated alkaloid synthesis in N. glauca.
