Abstract
⺠A class of sesterterpenoid lactones has been isolated from Leucosceptrum canum. ⺠These compounds were identified by spectroscopic and single-crystal X-ray analyses. ⺠Representative compounds showed potent antifeedant activity against Helicoverpa armigera. ⺠These compounds might serve as defense chemicals of L. canum against insects.
