Abstract
⺠Flavanocoumarins (2-3) related to epiphyllocoumarin (1) have been isolated from Guazuma ulmifolia bark. ⺠Compounds 1-2 showed affinity for STAT1, evaluated by Surface Plasmon Resonance, comparable to that exerted by EGCG. ⺠Their affinity was confirmed by molecular docking studies. ⺠Flavanocoumarins 1-2 inhibited STAT1-DNA binding.
