Abstract
⺠The phytochemical profile of Xiphidium caeruleum flowers was studied by LC-SPE-NMR. ⺠The metabolites present in the flowers were found to differ to other plant parts. ⺠Five phenylphenalenone-type compounds were identified or the first time. ⺠First report of phenalenones and flavonoids co-occurring in the Haemodoraceae.
