Abstract
⺠Constituents of seed coat of Pterospermum acerifolium were investigated. ⺠Phytoceramides and phytosterol glucosides were isolated. ⺠Compounds were evaluated for osteogenic activity. ⺠Phytoceramides markedly stimulated osteoblast differentiation.
