Abstract
⺠Twelve new phenylphenalenone-type compounds were identified from Wachendorfia thyrsiflora. ⺠Phenylbenzoisoquinolinone alkaloids were detected in this plant for the first time. ⺠Different metabolite profiles were found in the aerial plant parts and the roots. ⺠LC-DAD-SPE-NMR is useful to study the phytochemical profile of both plant parts.
