Abstract
► A screening method for glycosylceramides was established using TLC and ESI-MS/MS. ► Glycosylceramides were isolated from marine microalgae Tetraselmis sp. strain NKG400013. ► The two lipids consist of a botanical sphingoid base and fungal fatty acyl chains. ► This is the first indication of the presence of glycosylceramide in Prasinophyceae.
