Abstract
⺠Benzophenones and xanthones were isolated from Garcinia cantleyana var. cantleyana. ⺠One xanthone, with a rare, 2-oxoprenyl group, was also isolated. ⺠Another xanthone showed the highest LDL antioxidant activity, comparable to probucol. ⺠One benzophenone exhibited the strongest inhibition on AA-induced platelet aggregation.
