Abstract
⺠Covalent anthocyanin-flavonol complexes were isolated from the violet-blue flowers of Allium. ⺠Covalent anthocyanin-flavonol complexes were based on delphinidin 3-glucoside. ⺠The violet-blue flower color of Allium was exhibited by strong intramolecular copigmentation.
