Abstract
⺠UGPase is an essential enzyme producing UDP-Glc. ⺠UGPase can use Gal-1-P as non-specific substrate, albeit at high concentration. ⺠Substrates cause a shift in the quaternary structure of UGPase toward active form, which may regulate UGPase activity.
