Abstract
⺠PPT-type ginsenosides from Chinese ginseng inhibited growth of all six test fungi. ⺠PPD-type ginsenosides promoted growth of the ginseng pathogen Cylindrocarpon destructans. ⺠C. destructans can enzymatically degrade PPD-type ginsenosides.
