Abstract
⺠Destruxin B is transformed by cruciferous species to hydroxydestruxin B. ⺠Destruxin B is transformed by cereals to four different destruxins. ⺠Sirodesmin PL is not transformed either by crucifers or cereals. ⺠Sirodesmin PL is a stronger elicitor of phytoalexins than destruxin B.
