Abstract
⺠Thirty compounds were isolated and identified from three species of Veronica. ⺠The iridoids dihydroverminoside and α-truxillic acid catalpyl diester were isolated. ⺠The species in the group accumulated unusually high levels of verminoside. ⺠Carbohydrates, iridoids and phenylethanoids were used as chemotaxonomic markers.
