Abstract
⺠Three glucosinolates were identified in Pentadiplandra brazzeana root. ⺠These glucosinolates are: glucotropaeolin, glucolimnanthin and glucoaubrietin. ⺠In the seeds of P. brazzeana, glucoaubrietin is the major glucosinolate. ⺠Desulfoglucolimnanthin and desulfoglucoaubrietin also present; the latter two were hitherto unknown. ⺠3,4-Dimethoxybenzyl glucosinolate, glucobrassicin and glucotropaeolin are in leaf tissue.
