Abstract
⺠Five triterpene saponins were isolated from Hydrocotyle bonariensis. ⺠Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic methods. ⺠A1- and R1-barrigenol were acylated by 2-methylbutyroyl and/or acetyl moieties. ⺠Two compounds showed a weak cytotoxicity against HT-29 and HCT 116 colon cancer cells.
