Abstract
⺠Fifty five compounds were isolated from the leaves of Castanopsis fissa. ⺠Chemotaxonomically important hexahydroxydiphenoyl ester of triterpenes and a phenolic pigment were isolated. ⺠C. fissa is a rich source of galloyl quinic acids and triterpene hexahydroxydiphenoyl esters. ⺠Lipase inhibition activities and ORAC values of the major constituents were compared.
