Abstract
⺠Metabolism related to inter-conversion of vitamin B6 vitamers in plants. ⺠Maintenance of a stable level of pyridoxal 5â²-phosphate in tobacco is not well-correlated to changes in levels of non-phosphorylated forms. ⺠Efficient conversion pathways from pyridoxal to pyridoxine and pyridoxamine are present in the plant.
