Abstract
⺠A comparative metabolite profiling of different parts of Ruscus ponticus was obtained. ⺠HPLC-ESIMSn method proved to be a rapid tool to screen different classes of saponins. ⺠Eleven saponins, of which two new compounds, were identified in the underground parts. ⺠Nine new saponins were isolated from R. ponticus leaves. ⺠Dehydrated furostanol derivatives are reported for the first time in a Ruscus species.
