Abstract
⺠Constituents of the green fruits of Aegle marmelos were investigated. ⺠An alkaloid and four coumarins along with 15 known compounds were isolated. ⺠The antifungal and antibacterial activities of selected compounds were evaluated. ⺠Xanthoarnol exhibited as good activity as that of vancomycin, with a MIC of 18.75 μg/ml.
