Abstract
⺠Five prenylated isoflavones are reported for the first time in soybean. ⺠Two previously unreported prenylated isoflavones are described. ⺠Prenylated isoflavones are induced by soybean disease-resistance-inducing agents. ⺠Elicitor-treatment of plants for induction of new metabolites is described.
