Abstract
⺠Cyclopeptides, mauritines L and M, were isolated from Ziziphus mauritiana root. ⺠The first X-ray study of a 13-membered ring cyclopeptide was reported. ⺠All amino acid units of nummularine B methiodide were found to be S configuration. ⺠The isolates showed potent antiplasmodial and antimycobacterial activities. ⺠This is the first report on the mentioned activities of the 14-membered alkaloids.
