Abstract
⺠We investigate secondary metabolites from the fungus Phomopsis sp. ⺠We isolate eight compounds; four of them have never been reported before. ⺠We elucidate the structure of the isolated compounds. ⺠We screen for antibiotic and cytotoxic activities. ⺠We propose a biosynthetic pathway for the major compound.
