Abstract
⺠Extracts of five foliar fungal endophytes from Pinus strobus were antifungal. ⺠An aliphatic polyketide and three related sesquiterpenes were characterized. ⺠Pyrenophorol, dihydropyrenophorin and pyrenophorin were identified. ⺠Structures were elucidated by 2D NMR and LC-HRMS. ⺠Isolated compounds were antifungal against Saccharomyces cerevisae and Microbotryum violaceum.
