Abstract
⺠An olive FAD6 gene was functionally characterized by overexpression in E. coli. ⺠Temperature and light regulate olive FAD2 and FAD6 genes at transcriptional level. ⺠Olive FAD2 genes are transcriptionally regulated in response to wounding.
