Abstract
► Barbarea vulgaris genetic map is constructed. ► QTL for saponins, glucosinolates, hairiness, and flea beetle resistance are found. ► Quantitative resistance to flea beetles dissected into two well defined QTL. ► QTL for saponins and flea beetle resistance are co-localized. ► Remarkable degree of synteny between B. vulgaris and Arabidopsis thaliana exists.
